Hasta La Vesta > Host an Event

"Sometimes you just need an excuse to have a Party!"

Hasta La Vesta events come in all shapes and sizes. Host a party on Saturday, September 8, 2012 and use Dawn's Google Hangout as a stepping off point for your own fun. Submit questions, watch the video event, and explore our range of engaging activities that make sense of the cool space science surrounding the Dawn mission. Both Vesta and Ceres can be in the early morning sky seen through a telescope—perfect for a Hasta La Vesta Pancake Breakfast!

What kind of Hasta La Vesta event are you planning?

Public or private? Large or small? With or without help?

Where will you have it?

  • In the community: at your observatory, museum, or recreation center?
  • At a science camp, back-to-school celebration, or library event?
  • With your Girl/Boy Scouts or 4-H club, or at a family reunion or block party?

Check out resources to help you plan your party.
