  • Judith Allton is the Genesis Solar Wind Sample Curator at NASA Johnson Space Center. She is also a chemist and an avid planetary science storyteller.
  • David (duck) Mittlefehldt is a planetary scientist at NASA Johnson Space Center and was a member of the Dawn Mission Science Team for the Vesta phase of the mission. He is especially interested in the howardite, eucrite & diogenite (HED) meteorites that have been identified as coming from Asteroid Vesta. He is also a member of the Athena Science Team of the Mars Exploration Rover mission.
  • Kristen John is a NASA Postdoctoral Fellow at the Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) at NASA Johnson Space Center.

Entry/ID Requirements:

Every participant must be a U. S. citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident with Alien Resident number.(Must bring LPR card plus a second form of ID).  Please bring a valid ID with you (Unexpired driver’s license or unexpired passport).

TIME

The Houston workshop is taking place from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm CT.

Participants must arrive at Gate 1 NASA Johnson Space Center by 9:45am for check in and car-pooling to the workshop building.

DIRECTIONS

The workshop will take place in Building 31 NASA Johnson Space Center, Houston, TX.

Workshop participants will gather at Gate 1 Building 110 for check in and car-pooling to the workshop building.

From Bay Area Boulevard traveling E-NE:
Turn right on Saturn Lane, and go 1.4 miles to 2nd St. NASA JSC Gate 1 entrance is on the left. Turn left at the light and proceed to the guard for directions to Bldg. 110 – immediately on right.

From NASA Road 1 traveling E-NE:
Turn left on Saturn Lane and go 0.2 miles to 2nd St. NASA JSC Gate 1 entrance is on the right. Turn right at the light and proceed to the guard for directions to Bldg. 110 – immediately on right.
